Carmen Electra: Actress and Model
Carmen Electra was born on April 20, 1972 in
Cincinnati, Ohio as Tara Leigh Patrick. Carmen is an American
Model, television personality, actress and singer. She attended
Princeton High School for four years and then left to Los Angeles.
There she met Prince and was persuaded to change her name to Carmen
Electra. Carmen then signed a recording contract with Paisley
Park Records. Later in March 1997, she appeared in cartoon form
as the model for a character who's a singer and a vampire ("but
a good vampire", says her publicist) in a comic book
series called Embra.
Carmen then turned to television and appeared in various
programs, only to appear soon later in Playboy magazine. This increased
her appeal and she starred in Baywatch (with Pamela
Anderson) and MTV's Singled Out. Electra became a household
name after her marriage with Dennis Rodman, and is now married to
Celebrity poker player and rock musician Dave Navarro.
