Amber Brkich: Actress

Amber Brkich was born on August 11, 1978 in Beaver, Pennsylvania, USA. Amber is a Catholic and her parents are Croatian. Brkich attended Beaver Area High School and then went to Westminster College where she was a member of the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. Amber earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations with a minor in speech communications.

Amber won Survivor: All-Stars and was a contestant on Survivor: The Australian Outback. In May 2004, fellow survivor contestant Rob Mariano, proposed to Amber on live television. Brkich accepted and the couple appeared on The Amazing Race and came in second place.

After Survivor, Amber briefly worked as the host of an adventure travel game on Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. On April 16, 2005 Rob Mariano and Amber Brkich were married in a private ceremony in the Bahamas. The U.S. television network CBS aired a 2 hour special about the wedding on May 24, 2005.
