Dean Cain: Actor and Celebrity
Poker Player
Dean Cain
can say something that very few can say, he can tell people he was Superman. Although
Cain is best known for playing the Man of Steel and his alter ego Clark Kent on Lois &
Clark: The New Adventures of Superman., he has starred in many more films and television shows.
Interestingly enough Cain is afraid of flying, unlike the famous character he played.
Football was Cain's first interest and he had a really good career before deciding to act. He
actually set a NCAA record for the most interceptions in a game, this caught the attention
of the Buffalo Bills who signed him to a contract. Unfortunately a bad knee
injury cut Cain's career off before it started.
After his injury Cain decided to take up acting and started to get jobs in various television
shows and films. Since Lois & Clark ended Cain has been the host of Ripley's Believe It
or Not! and starred in movies like Lost and various television shows.
When Cain is not in front of a camera he can be found at a poker table. Imagine how cool
it would be to tell your friends you beat Superman at a poker table.
